Volunteer Pilots

Pilot Minimum Requirements

  • 500 Hours Total Time

  • 75 Hours PIC Cross Country

  • 25 Hours within the Last Six Months

  • (Copy of) Current Medical

  • (Copy of) Current Flight Review

  • (Copy of) Airworthiness Certificate

  • (Copy of) Most recent Annual

  • (Copy of) Aircraft Proof of Insurance

  • Weight and Balance Calculation for each flight

New pilots flying for Raquel's Wings will initially engage in:

  • VFR flight only, with potential approval by RWFL for IFR

  • Daytime flights, with opportunities for night flights upon RWFL approval
