At Raquel's Wings for Life, we are dedicated to providing compassionate air transportation for cancer patients in the North Texas region. Established as a non-profit organization, our service extends free of cost to various medical facilities across Texas and Oklahoma. We are driven by a singular goal: to alleviate both the financial and time burdens associated with cancer treatment travel.
Understanding the complexities and challenges of cancer care, we ensure every journey with us is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Patients are flown in private aircraft capable of making direct, point-to-point flights, significantly reducing travel time. In addition to air travel, we provide ground transportation, seamlessly connecting patients from the airport to their treatment centers.
Raquel's Wings for Life was founded in 2005 by Fabio La Brada. Inspired by his personal experience assisting his mother through her cancer treatments, and leveraging his expertise as an airline pilot, Fabio envisioned a service that could ease the journey for many others facing similar challenges. His passion and dedication have been the cornerstone of Raquel's Wings, propelling the organization forward with hope and purpose.
As a non-profit entity, our operations are fueled by the generosity of donors, the dedication of volunteers, and personal funds. Every flight, every mile traveled, is a testament to the power of community and the impact of collective kindness.
